50026
Indomitable, 50031
Hood and 50035
Ark Royal attended the October 2012 diesel gala at the
Severn Valley Railway. 50044
Exeter was also on display, although static in a bay platform at Kidderminster due to a serious mechanical issue experienced on its
last railtour. This was the first time that a fully-operational 50026 had visited the railway since its brief stay in 2010 for testing.
On two of the days, pairs of Class 50s double-headed the complete length of the line having had permission to do so over Victoria Bridge. 50026 was paired with 50035 on the first occasion and paired with 50031 on the second.
The operational locomotives provided turns from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and Kidderminster to Bewdley.
For more pictures of these particular locomotives see the
In Preservation group.
