40106, 50031 Hood, 50044 Exeter and 50049 Defiance attended the October 2011 diesel gala at the Severn Valley Railway.

40106, 50044 and 50049 had all recently undergone bodywork repairs resulting in their complete repaint. 40106 and 50049 kept variations of their previous liveries but 50044 had its original British Rail corporate blue livery applied.

The locomotives provided turns from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and Kidderminster to Bewdley.
