50031 Hood and 50049 Defiance working for Arriva Trains Wales provided motive power for regular service trains from Cardiff to Fishguard during the summer of 2006. A single locomotive was usually employed on the diagram that began as a Saturdays-only service in June but was later expanded to include week days through into September 2006.
