55009 Alycidon and 55019 Royal Highland Fusilier attended the April 2015 diesel gala at the Bluebell Railway. This was only the second time in its history that the line had hosted a diesel gala. It was also the first time ever that this class of locomotive had visited this particular preserved railway.

The locomotives provided turns from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park and the return.
