50007 Hercules and 50049 Defiance at different stages during The Pilgrim Centurion tour run by Pathfinder Tours.
The tour was a double landmark since not only was it the 100th railtour using The Class 50 Alliance Ltd locomotives but it was also the 50th railtour using their locomotives for Pathfinder Tours.
The tour started at Swindon and travelled north via Birmingham and the West Coast Mainline (WMCL) to Edinburgh. It returned via Niddrie West Junction and then an identical route back to Swindon, a total of 776 miles for the one-day trip.
