50026 Indomitable attended the May 2012 diesel gala at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. This was only the second outing for 50026 for 22 years, the locomotive having been subject to a lengthy and expensive restoration project.

Unfortunately, technical problems arose on the first day of the gala which restricted its use. These were rectified by the end of the second day, ready for its timetabled use thereafter.

The locomotive provided turns from Keighley to Oxenhope and the return.
