Hercules and 50049
Defiance at different stages during The Mazey Day Cornishman tour run by
Pathfinder Tours.
The tour started at Birmingham New Street behind locomotive 66798 for the first leg to Gloucester. Upon arrival, this was replaced by the two Class 50s which worked the tour forward from Gloucester to Penzance and the return. From Gloucester they were again replaced by 66798, a total of 596 miles for the one-day trip.
