Fearless at different stages during The Plymouth Explorer tour by
Vintage Trains. This was the first time in 28 years that the locomotive had been to Plymouth since working the final railtour,
The 50 Terminator, back in March 1994.
The tour started at Dorridge and headed south going via Birmingham New Street, returning by the same route. Total distance covered by the Class 50 was 457 miles for the one-day trip.
Locomotive 47773, was used as tail-gunner throughout the tour as insurance against a mainline failure but was only used for stock moves.
