50015 Valiant and 55002 The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry attended the October 2017 diesel gala at the Mid Hants Railway.

50027 worked various turns between Alreford and Alton. For much of the first day locomotive 55002 was out of service, awaiting a part to be couriered to the railway to make it operative.
