As part of preparation for its appearance at the Class 50 Golden Jubilee Gala at the Severn Valley Railway, 50033 Glorious undertook a number of test runs in a top-'n'-tail formation with 50044 Exeter. The graffiti on the sides of the locomotive were part of a fundraising exercise to pay for its repaint.
